Portable Translate is a translation companion for travel and everyday use, bringing typed text, live conversation and camera input together in one app so language stops getting in the way.

Text Translation

Type or paste a sentence and read the result straight away. Six translation models are available, so you can switch to whichever one suits the material in front of you.

Live Conversation

Speak naturally and watch your words appear as you talk, then get the translation for the other person. The bubble layout is arranged for two people sitting face to face.

Camera Translation

Point the camera at a menu, a street sign or a label and read it in your own language. Pictures already in your library work the same way, with the translation laid over the original image.

Offline Packs

Download the languages you need before a trip and keep translating when there is no signal. Every pack sits in one list showing its current download state.

Phrasebook

Ready-made sentences for dining, transport, accommodation, shopping, medical and emergency moments. Amounts spotted in a translation are converted using current exchange rates.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be shown. Subscriptions can be managed by the user. Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's account settings after purchase.
• Cancelling the current subscription is not allowed during an active subscription period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.
